I am not a fan of erotic books though i have no problem with sex scenes. I downloaded this story and read it right away after having a look at the first page. I think that is what pretty much sold it for me and i was in no way dissapointed. The style is effortless and skilled, it is gritty and seductive. The story has a kind of a dark humour to it in places and the sex scenes were explored with the kind of no holds barred approach you would find in any of Bret Easton Ellis stories.

What an amazingly exciting . . . I should say SEXciting . . . surprise!!! The first book I've ever found through a Facebook recommendation, this short-story has, like any wonderfully unexpected spontaneous-liaison, left me gasping for more!!!
And surprise after surprise follows with each page! Right from our Gigolo's first encounter in a scenario hitherto of no appeal to me, the text is so descriptive that I felt my hips sliding further forward in my chair and my thighs uncontrollably twitch

I haven't read very many erotic stories, but this one left me panting for the next volume. I was profoundly thankful that this is a short story, because Ms. Ellis packs a world of hot experiences into one day of Oliver's life. It is the day his life takes a new path that I think even he didn't expect.

Ollie is a sinfully flawed hero. Motivated by near poverty, his goal is to find a wife from a wealthy family. It is apparent that he appreciates a nice lifestyle, but there is more to the

When I first say the title of this book I was intrigued. What would a gigolo have to say about his life? And this is an erotica story, so I knew there's be a lot of sexual aspects to it as well. Yet I was pleased that it wasn't all sex.

Memoirs of a Gigolo Volume One is the great kick off to the new series. I feel that it established the story-line in a great way. There's a good amount of background to establish the main character and his financial situation, leading to him decide the n

The concept for this book is far from original. After all, sex for hire has been around since currency was invented. But Livia Ellis' "Memoirs of a Gigolo" is so much more than a stab at the time-honored trading coin for booty genre.

What makes this story is the character, Oliver Adair. I want to wax poetic and say that he is beautifully flawed, even tragically so. But I can't write that with a straight face. The fact is--he's jaded, he's cynical, he's materialistic, he's hedonistic, bu

Meet the Author

Were I to write a personal add about myself it would read as follows:Blond. Blue. 5’6”. A lady never discloses her weight, but I’ve never had any complaints. I only run if I’m being chased by a gun wielding maniac, but I do love yoga. Bit of a shoe hound. Have had issues passing up handbags. Trying to learn to play the Irish harp. Enjoy both theater and concerts. Love to read fantasy and science fiction. Am not ashamed to admit I adore Star Trek. Have a picture of myself (dressed as a nun) and the late Patrick Swayze (dressed as a medieval warrior) in a frame (Yes – I did cry when he died). Perpetual student. Vivid imagination. Sexually adventurous only on paper. I never know what to say when people end a conversation with ‘god bless’. Occasionally play the lottery – but generally only when I’m feeling really poor. Love to travel. Fluent French speaker. Seeks readers whom enjoy what I write.

    Interesting!

Short, this story tells the reasons that led Oliver to accept a job as an escort.

Less common than the perspective of a woman in this business, I found the idea of ¿¿discovering the world of a gigolo interesting and intriguing. And the authour is direct!

The scene of oral sex in the doctor's office is amazing! A amazing blow job description explain by a man for a man's pleasure...But I did not like the interview with Olga. The sex scene is a little too clinical or too much work related for me ... But the author in a very short story thought of everyone, as there was even a hot scene between two women.

Maybe the sex was a little too detached for my taste with no feelings.  That leaves a bad taste on my mouth and gives the impression of a transaction more than a sexual act between two lovers.

But it is well written and it gave me desire to discover more about Olivier, the escort. Olivier, the man, has not attracted me at all. His philosophy of marrying a rich girl for her money only...What a jerk!
I do not even know if the idea of ¿¿working with his brain and his ten fingers has crossed his mind once, as his only ambition is finding easy money. But to paid for James Bond to satisfy your fantasies is a good plot...The escort has inspired me to follow his adventures ...

    Sassy, Fun, Erotic!

When you are the Lord of the Manor, people expect you to have money, but Oliver Adair is broke, living off the largess of what few friends he has. When he decides he needs to make his own way in the world, he finds he isn’t exactly qualified for much, but, he does enjoy sex, needs large sums of cash quickly and approaches a very high end, very discreet escort service, passed his face to face interview, his physical, and the most important test of all, can he perform under pressure, with an audience, with a professional escort as his partner? How does he “measure up” to other men? What will his new life be like as a paid escort?
Memoirs of a Gigolo by Livia Ellis is fresh, spoken from the main character’s POV, sounding like a man, totally! There’s some attitude and sexy fun in future installments, if this is any indication of what to expect!
