This book was written by the widow Jackson for the benefit of their daughter who never knew her father. I could only read the first 75 pages until I had enough. The book makes Jackson out to be holier than JC. He did everything perfect and was a man among men. This is the "bending" of the truth that any mother would tell her child to give them a sense of how great a man Stonewall Jackson was. BUT for the rest of us, there are many more books which are balanced to give us a picture of who the real man was.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
