This book starts a bit like the introduction to some cheesy movie. It jumps around between characters in enters the heads of the characters a lot. It has a weak and cliched theme about a bad boy who is not so bad falling for a good girl but with some cultural restraints that keep them from getting together. It has a another cliched twist about ex-lover. The main focus seems to be on another character, Robert who has some type of psychological issue that is not revealed completely in the book.
If you can get past the cheesy innuendos and to the meat of the book, it is a good read. It is predictable and light reading. The author is new and seems to be developing a style. Good things may be coming with other books because this is the first of a series from what I understand. The Characters are fun and the reading is at least wholesome--no unexpected surprises with bad language. I give it three stars.
