    Absolutely Hilarous

If you're looking for a book to bring out on those grey days when you've crashed your car, your highschool sweatheart has left you, or if you just feel like life is doing it's best to get at you, this is the book. If Joe hasn't experienced it, and written about it, it's not worth going through. He will make you laugh out loud, but at the same time you feel almost ashamed because you're laughing at some guy's misfortune! But the next minute you're laughing again, and all guilt is washed away.

    Brilliant True Life Stoires.

I was a little unsure when my brother first showed me the beginning of this book when it was still on Joe's website. I thought, how good can an internet book be? As it turned out I needed not be afraid. Joe the Peacock is a brilliant author, combinig his love for adventure, stupidity and fire into one beautifally written novel of short stories. For anyone that grew up a normal child, ( and I mean normal in the sense that you did stupid things and paid for it, hard) then you will enjoy this book. Some are heartwarming, some are insane, and others are just undescribeable. You have to read it.

    Absolutely Outstanding!

This book, is by far, the best thing I have read in a long while. Joe is such an amazing writer... his writing makes you feel as though you were watching the story happen in real-time! The stories are hilarious and even though you have never talked to Joe before, by the end of the book you feel as though you have known him for a while and have been part of his shenannigans. If you ever need a laugh or 50, pick up this book!!

    This book saved my marriage!

It's been a long time since I've read a book that I had a hard time putting down. In fact, I think it was Judy Blume's Blubber which I read in 6th grade. Joe's book, I didn't have a problem putting that down at all. I put it down many times, like when I slept and when I ate and when I had to go to work. That's because it's a collection of incredibly funny short stories, all making up one master story which is Joe's life. The amazing thing is that all of the stories are true. I enjoyed this book so much that I couldn't put it down. Oh wait, yeah I could. I already went into that a few sentences back. It was great, though, and the cover is pretty and orange.

    The book of the year!

This is an absolutely amazing collection of short stories by Joe the Peacock, all compiled in to the worlds first reader voted book. Joe has been posting stories on to his website (same name as the book) for some time now, with readers of the site voting for their favorite story and the story with the most votes becomes the next chapter. Each story is a tiny glimpse into the life of the author, and it is definitely not a dull life!!! Some absolutely hilarious tales of romance, revenge, protestors, dolphins and just general nonsensical behaviour await all who pick this book up. If you only read one book this year, make sure that it is Mentally Incontinent. You will not be sorry. I cannot recommend this book highly enough, so why are you still reading this? Stop reading this review and go and buy the book right now!!

Funnier than a tank of queasy dolphins

This book is a very entertaining read and it's hard to put down. In fact, you'll find yourself wanting to bring the book to bed with you so you can read 'just one more story.' Next you'll realize that it's the wee hours of the morning and one story has stretched into two or three or more. Beware bringing this book to bed with you if your significant other, roommate, sibling, etc. is a light sleeper because you'll find yourself breaking out in laughter much of the time. In fact, you might want to buy them a copy too so that they can stay up and read at the same time. Reading this book has made us grateful that we're not weirdness magnets like Joe. But we're also grateful that Joe has chosen to share his odd experiences with the world and can do so in such a vivid and wonderful manner. Buy the book, you won't be disappointed.

All your orange tags are belong to us.

This is an amazingly funny collection of anecdotal stories that is guaranteed to knock your socks off and split your sides. With a few more serious tales thrown in that feature special moments of personal growth in the author's life, this book is not to be missed! Great as a gift, or even as a gift to yourself because you definitely won't want to give this away once you've read it. It was painstakingly put together over the course of three years by posting each individual story on a website with the same title as the book. These stories competed against each other, vying for a place in the finished book. What's more, we, the readers voted on the chapters to be included in the book, we had the final say. I don't know about you, but I'd take the endorsements of three thousand 'editors' and counting over the reccommendations of one 'editor' guy that his only job is to make the book publishing arm of a gigantic media corporation money hand over fist regardless of quality of content of the book(s). This is an engrossing book, read it all at once, or one 'round' at a time. Just be wary about doing so in public or some people may try to get you 'committed' for laughing too loud and too long. And be prepared to preach to all your friends about 'this new author they just gotta read'. You can't keep something this hilarious and brilliant all to yourself!

    Absolutely Hilarious

I got an advanced copy of this book, and I am absolutely in stitches from it. Most people aren't interested in collections of short stories anymore, but I found myself laughing constantly at the trauma of Joe the Peacock.

    Awesome

These are some of the funniest stories I have ever read. The premise of the book is unprecedented: Readers on the website vote on the stories they want to see in the book, and Joe puts them in the book. Truly a book for the fans!!
