Editorial Reviews

A Customer
The author makes the legal profession & court room come alive
The characters in this book were as real to me as any I have come in contact with over the years. Ms. Forster has the ability to keep one's attention throughout the book making it impossible to put it down, wishing to come to the end but still wishing it were longer, thus the suspense more riveting. I look forward to future books by this fine author...

These Pages Turn Themselves

The Mentor has momentum from beginning to end with no lapses in between. I lost sleep while reading this book because I really couldn't put it down. The characters are extremely well written; they are all vivid as individuals, and the dymanics and tension between them kept me engrossed just as much as the plot did. Forster is aptly skilled at the art of captivation.
Publishers Weekly
This page-turner will keep readers in the dark until the surprising and frightening conclusion. Forster (Character Witness), who has shown an impressive ability to interweave plot, evocative narration and character to create highly entertaining mysteries, succeeds again.

This book tops all of Rebecca Foresters novels. It captivated me from the first page to the last. What strong characters, the plot and story line packed with emotions. The sensational court room drama. It all added up to a five star rating. The character that still lingers in my mind is that of Judge caufield, what a noble man. He made a mistake and paid for it with his life.

I felt that Lauren and Allan were whinners and spoiled and did not appreciate the love, loyality, trust, and adoration that Judge Caufield bestowed on them.

    Page turning legal thriller

When Lauren Kingsley is assigned to prosecute a case before her mentor/benefactor Judge Wilson Caulfield, she unexpectedly tangles with legal and personal issues that not only put her life in danger but also expose previous wrong doings by people she loves and respects. Rebecca Forster is one of those marvelous authors who never tells you what a character is thinking or feeling - she makes you experience it. With The Mentor, she ingeniously takes the reader on a tour of the inner workings of the Federal District Court while exploring the complex drama inherent in mentor relationships. Download this now - you won't regret it.
