    Most excellent poetry

Readers who have partaken of Noel-Anne Brennan's poetry previously know that she is a masterful poet, and these poems are no less inspired and well crafted. However, they also are gifts from one cat lover to others. The poet has loved and lost cats over the years, and there are touching poems in memory of two of them. If you have lost beloved felines, you may want to have tissues at hand before reading "For Sapphy" and "For Lightning." Other poems brilliantly tell of the world from a cat's point of view, and there are light hearted poems as well, including a cute limerick, "The Cat from Nantucket," which, of course, is G rated. All who love well crafted poetry will enjoy this collection. The only downside to this volume is that the reader will want more after the poems have been read and reread.
