This book is great for people who have a short attention span or an odd sense of humor. Not for everyone but I loved it. Buying his other one now.

Check out Manion's fresh yet slighty odd take on both everyday and imaginary situations. You may laugh or cringe or both but you will not be disappointed. Check out his blog and other books too and you will not be disappointed.

A rambling collection of essays, anecdotes, and assorted madness

A rambling collection of essays, anecdotes, and assorted madness. The punctuation leaves a lot to be desired, but despite that it's still quite readable. The humor often borders on the demented, sort of a cross between David Sedaris and Happy Tree Friends. There were parts where I laughed, parts where I cringed, and even a few parts where I was tempted to skim - but most of it was quite unforgettable either way. I may think of one story in particular every time I take a shower for the rest of my life. If you're looking for something well outside the mainstream, this will probably amuse you. I'd like to read more of Manion's blather because much of it is really quite funny, but I think I'll wait until it's visited a proofreader first.

This is truly a find. If you want to relax and forget all troubles this is the book for you. The writing is beyond funny and totally allows you to forget the terrible day you may have had. I was laughing out loud and couldn't put the book down. So now I'm going to dive into the second book.

If you need the perfect book to give anyone with a sense of humor, then Merciful Flush has got to be it! I laughed so hard a lady sitting next to me on the train almost texted the police. Perfect for me as I sit on the train for 45 minutes a day. You need to read this book.
