Overview

Corporate Affairs, Book Two

Tony Renatto has worked five long years to make himself worthy of the beautiful, untouchable Meredith Worthington. He knows the truth-beneath her icy demeanor hides a fiery woman who deserves love. A woman he's dying to break free.

Growing up with an abusive father and a brother who condemned her sexuality taught Meredith not to trust anyone. There's no room in her life for a man like Tony, whose presence threatens her hard-won independence. Without it, Meredith is afraid she'll fall apart.

Tony knows what his ice princess needs, even if she doesn't. He'll shatter her control with all the dark, forbidden things she craves. He'll power into her soul by way of her body and teach her to trust again, even if that means pushing past her every sexual boundary. Tony loves Meredith, and he won't stop until she's free.

I have read all 3 in the series and enjoyed Merediths story. I thought Anthony pushed her too far too fast into the lifestyle for a 163p nook, but Summers did explain the intent behind the head games so you were rooting for him by the end.

This was such a good book and I really enjoyed it a lot. Within the first few pages things really heat up and it doesn’t stop. Meredith finds herself watching a situation that she shouldn’t and boy does she get an eyeful. You won’t be disappointed in the HOT department! This was a second in the corporate series, but no worries, I didn’t read the first one and I had no trouble following the story.

I really liked Meredith, the main female character, she was smart, funny, strong, vulnerable, and she didn’t go out and do something dumb in the middle of the night and get herself into trouble. I also liked Tony, the main male character. He was so alpha and sexy and strong. The one negative character he had was that he was really pushy telling people what to do. I didn’t like that. I thought it was ironic that at one point in the story he finally understood why his family didn’t like his well intended help.

Many of Meredith’s and Tony’s family members made appearances in the book, but all were secondary characters. A few, such as Meredith’s younger brother, could have been fleshed out more to enhance the story.

The one problem with the book that I had was that there were a lot of questions that I wanted answers to that I didn’t get till the very end. When I mean at the end, I really mean AT THE END, like within the last few pages. It was distracting for me to not know if these questions/problems were going to be answered or not. I’m the kind of gal that likes to know as much information as possible.
