Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Heather Welsh
Melody and her mermaid buddies are preparing for the infamous Spring Ball and feast. They gather beautiful aquamarines, diamonds, emeralds, and pearls for their necklaces and outfits and put them in a huge chest. Before they can get back to the chest the next day it disappears, and it looks like it was stolen. Melody and her friends must put together the clues to figure out whom or what took the chest to get their outfits back before the dance. All clues point to the banished sea dragon, but there are other creatures in the sea. There are the sprites, the Sandman, and two older mermaids that are always trying to sabotage the mermaid friends' efforts. Unfortunately, Melody decides to confront the sea dragon all by herself. What she discovers will surprise you! What will happen to Melody? Will the mermaids get their jewels back in time for the ball? Fans of the "Mermaid Mysteries" series will not be disappointed. This fourth book in the series has the same short chapters, large print, and illustrations these books are known for. Reviewer: Heather Welsh

After a degree and 10 years working in Graphic Design, Tom Knight eventually realised that true happiness lies in drawing pictures in a shed at the bottom of the garden for a living. Tom lives on Mersea island with his splendid wife Tabby and their 2 boys, Archie and Seth.
