Overview

Seventeen-year-old succubus Lily Anderson can't have a normal life: She isn't allowed a boyfriend, she has no friends, and school is just one mess-up after another.

Lily's parents send her away to the prestigious Emerson Academy. It doesn't appear to be any different from the others. That is, until she meets her roommate, Hannah, and a blue-eyed boy named Jake.

Lily makes an almost deadly mistake, and Jake has a mysterious past that has come back to haunt him. Together, they must go on the run from things neither of them understand in order to save the people they love-and each other. But, Jake's foe is more dangerous than they realized, and it will take the help of friends and family to save the man Lily loves.

She must learn to use her powers for good before it's too late.

I was a little hesitant to buy this book at first because I wasnt sure if such a short book could be good, but it actually was really good! I took me about 2-2 1/2 hours to read total, but it was worth the money. I really dont think it had too much sexual content. I mean, it does mention wanting to have sex, but it doesnt have any sex scenes or anything. I think that if you are mature about that kind of thing, you can handle it. Overall it had a very lovely romance, great characters, and an interesting plot. Great read!

I have to say, the story line and plot were interesting. The only thing that i can complain about is the lack of detail in the writing style. If this is meant for mature teens its sure not written like it. "She took a shower." "She walked away." These are the types of sentences that you can expect in this book. I have been reading teen books for years and this is one of the simplest i have read. If you don't like character development and not having a back story then this is a good book for you.

This book was rly good. The romance was amazing and definatly pulled at your heart strings! (The book did have alot of mature sexual situations. Woulnt recommed for younger teens). If i had any complaints it would be for the plot to be thicker. The book was a little predictable at times. Overral not a bad teen read!!!

Poor Lily, shipped around from school to school. However, it seems at first like this one may last. She has been there for 3 years. Then she meets a new student and everything goes right and wrong at the same time. She finally finds out about her dad. The characters wre well developed and it had a good storyline for younger adults. It leaves you knowing there will be a second book. it is also a pretty short read. Very easy to read. It flows well.

I really liked this book I liked Lily and Jake and thought that they made a great couple. Same with Sandra and Gregory. The book is about a girl named Lily who is part succubus trying to get through school without to much attention on her from boys. She then meets Jake who is attracted to her and her to him. We find out that Jake has a secret and Lily gets pulled into accidentally. I really liked the entire story from beginning to end and I hope that there will be more about the two of their adventures together.

Read it in three hours because I didn't want to put it down. Fun, easy read with a good story line. Some sex but nothing graphic.

A must read. I am picky about books and this is an amazing book. I loved it. I would recommemd this book for teens 16 and up. But if you can handle the mature content go ahead. That is my age recomment. I am younger than the age I recommened but I love the book my type of story.

It wasn't what I was expecting I was hoping for a good read but I didn't find that here. The characters were rushed along with the story line. I would recommend this book for someone who had nothing better to do or read.

this book is a first for me. i've never read any books about a succubus. i really did enjoy this book. everywhere poor lily went, boys would fall all over her. she had to leave her last school because a boy became stalkerish. she is sent to emerson academy, where she meets jake. he's the 1st boy she was able to kiss and not make him unconscious or possibly kill him. that's because he has a secret of his own. because of that people are after him. definitely worth checking this book out.

I've read this book & The Keegan Chronicles by Julia Crane I've come to the conclusion that she is a terrible author. Her books are so childish they seem like middle school English papers. But they try to pass as YA novels with the subject & problems only to have them solved so easily. I would not recommend this book or any Julia Crane books to anyone over 11. Her books are so bad its actually laughable when I read a goods review.

I couldn't even finish this book it was so bad. All the main characters thought about was sex and the plot was just plaim stupid. In my lifetime I have read great books, good books, mediokre books, and bad books. This would definitely fall in the bad books category. Don't waste three dollers on this, yoy can buy so many better books.
