Before reading this book, I had no idea who Mary Fisher was. When she first came out as having AIDS, I was too young to understand what it was and I was too young to ever watch politics or even the news. After reading this book, I am in awe of how strong and wonderful this woman is. This book is so well written that I almost felt as though I was by her side the whole time. She seems very humble, but should really give herself more credit for things that have been done with AIDS because of her. What an excellent role model as a human being all together! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

This book is such a touching view into the personal side of Mary Fisher. There are moments of tears, moments of laughter and everything in between. Mary really bares her soul in this book. Her journey is inspiring and will certainly give hope to many. She is indeed a Messenger- and more importantly she actually has a message that is needed worldwide. Was this review helpful?
