    Reading this book was like reading the tag on a mattress...oops an analogy

    I have many of Mr.Wormeli's books and I admire him as a great leader in the field of literacy. HOWEVER, I truly would like to return this book to sender. If it was meant for classroom teacher and these teachers are this illiterate about metaphors and analogies in teaching, we are in deep trouble. I found very little useful information in the book except for maybe feeling good about how much I evidently know about this topic. Maybe I missed the purpose but I don't think it measures up to the author's capabilities.
