All Music Guide - Stephen Thomas Erlewine
Despite cameos from David Bowie and Reeves Gabrels, Sister Machine Gun's fourth album Metropolis doesn't sound that much different than their previous three -- it is still the same mix of metal and Nine Inch Nails. Even if the group isn't showing any signs of great leaps in creativity, Metropolis is one of the group's most consistent efforts, offering a pummeling array of rattling beats and shattering guitars.

    welcome......to Metropolis

An awesome and very well made 4th album from sister machine gun ,this cd is the groups last album from wax trax records! From the haunting and highly cyber-ized intro ''this metal sky'' to the hardcore break beat filled ending track ''cut-down'' this album reminds you why s.m.g is such a great and important band to the industrial scene. One of their best albums to date! stand out tracks : ''desperation, what do you want from me,torque, cut down, admit.'' pick this one up you wont be dissapointed!
