Do's and Don'ts...
* Pirate shirts, loud patterns, buckles, and zippers are for circus performers and boy bands.
* Pleated pants are history. Slim-fit, straight-leg pants make you look longer and sharper.
* Your clothes should conform to your body. Spend the extra money and have suits tailored.
* Your belt and your shoes should always match, and black on black works best.
* A silver, stainless steel watchband will go with everything. Leather bands should be strong and masculine, and sport watches are for sporting occasions.
* High school or college rings are best kept in the dresser drawer until the reunion is announced.

Not what you might think....

I picked this book not but 3 days ago. It took me only one night to read though it all. The book proves itself interesting by not just telling you to remember to moisturize or color cordinate, but rather seems to try and call one away from the couch potato culture that most of this country seems to have doomed itself to. Its calls to self improvement are something I think most people can agree with. Although one doesn't have to take all of the authors specific tastes into account, and one can pick and choose what they like, the content proves itself worthy enough that any man should be able to take something from. Its best gift may not be in telling us what we should be but helping us realize who we are.

Unleash your feminine side...it's ok!

I actually enjoyed this book for several reasons. It pretty much described alot of my attitudes and behaviors (I had no clue there was a term for men like us). A must read for every man who wants/needs to reinvent himself, and move away from the 'neanderthal' lifestyle. Alot of practicable ideas without spending thousands, or getting on one of those embarrasing reality shows (Queer Eye...etc). I've read some recent articles where the metro is actually moving up the career and social ladders much faster than his predecessor (whatever they call him). The reality is, the Metrosexual is the man for the new millenium. This handbook is clear, concise and before you know it, you'll be having coffee with the blonde bombshell you met earlier at the beauty isle, while purchasing moisterizing products.

It never hurts to raise the bar

This book offers some great advice on how to behave correctly and how to present yourself. I recommend it. I suggest you get Optimal Thinking--How To be Your Best Self as well, to discover how to be your best and make the most of everything that comes your way.
