    Worst in the 'Journal' series

The Redleg journal, for example, had well over a hundred photographs. Every other Journal book had dozens. The Mets Journal? Zero. Not one photograph. Other "Journals" had historic hitting and pitching lists. The Mets Journal? Zero. To make it worse, there are typos and editing mistakes throughout. There are less "current events" footnotes, such as other"Journals" had that put a season into perspective. There are less baseball footnotes, too. Attempted to look up Rogers Hornsby as a coach in 1962 and there was no mention whatsoever of that Hall of Famer's time with the Mets. But we're told who broadcast a playoff game for FOX or NBC. I've greatly enjoyed and admired the other team "Journals" by John Snyder, and there's much here that is interesting but, overall, this "Journal" seems sloppy and done on the cheap.
