A very good cookbook. I am usually interested in one topic and do my study on books based on my interest. Questionably maybe not the most objective measurement but works for me. In this case it was "Chili Verde:. The recipe here was excellent. I really like all the tips in this book. It is cross indexed well. The only part I did not like were the pictures. I don't care about pictures of the authors out in the mexican countryside doing research. More recipe illustrations on how to (ala American Test Kitchen books) would have been nice. For the price, information, and use I would recommend it highly.
