My 3 year old daughter and I love the "Mia" series. We have them all on my Nook Tablet in ebook form. The art is pretty, well drawn, and looks good on the Nook. The dialogue is simple enough to follow along. And, it encourages children to read. This story is really very cute. The plot usually revolves around a problem that directly involves Mia and her beginning ballet class. This time it is Mias friend who is afraid to dance in the upcoming daisy flowers recital. Mia helps her friend in a kind and generous way. They practice the whole dance together many times. All this preparation allows both girls to succeed at the recital. It leaves readers with a good moral, good self esteem, and a good example of real friendship. Highly recommended! -AvidReader

The "read to me" option to this adorable book add charm, just like its pictures! My daughters were captured into the reading and so I purchase the other two books by Robin Farley. I am a first time owner of a Nook Color and these books made my purchase oh so worth it! Lovely story telling in a beautiful artwork form!
