    great read!

A great book for the beach--it makes you think about love and life..beautifully written with memorable metaphors. I have lived in Atlanta, and the 'desperate housewives' described in the book remind me of the wine-drinking soccer moms from Georgia. A must read for every woman who lives or who has ever lived in the suburbs! The writing reminds me of the style of Anne River Siddons

    Must Read

From the minds of two very similar and caring teachers come two very different worlds. Cat, wasting away in the wine drinking suburbs, changes her life forever as she meets the curious character Micah. Micah and Cat face their past- their demons in this beautifully written love story. It's not too often a book comes along that allows you to reflect on your own life, and Micah's Child does just that. This book is a must read and I recommend it to anyone. Can't wait to read the next one.

Contemporary romanctic adventure with a dash of mysticism

Diane Lang and Michael Buchanan burst onto the publishing scene with this contemporary romance set in southeastern suburbia, with forays into the worlds of archeological and underwater exploration. Beautifully written, Micah's Child holds the reader fascinated by the thread of mysticism and haunting desire interwoven into Catherine and Micah's tale. A very satisfying read!

A griping book that you cannot put down!

This is a beautiful book. Brilliantly written, and imposible to put down! I found it fascinating how different parts of the book correlated. It really touches on many aspects of life, exposing some of the idiosyncrasies of suburban life. Destined to become a classic. A must read!

There is proof in the writing

I am a former student of one of the writers. Through out the book things would pop out at me reminding me of him. His personality is evident through out the book, making this a very engrossing work. I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in Civil War artifacts, archaeology and/or anthropology, and scuba diving. Buchanan is one of the greatest teachers I've ever had, and I'm proud to have been a student of his and to have written this review. READ THIS BOOK!! BUY THIS BOOK!!

    Breathtaking and real

This is an amazing novel, it's long, but maintains such momentum that it's hard not to finish it in just a few days. The writing is beautiful but the messages are even more so. If you think life is beautiful, or would like to, read this book.
