A five star review: Very sweet and educational! (ebook review):
I chose this book to read to my 6yr old - but my 3yr old loved listening to it. He still talks about it months later as a way he learnt about the relationship between mice & owls. Beautifully written in an uncomplicated way.

The story is unique, although may be a bit on the scary side for some younger readers, as the entire premise is about how one mouse has to leave home and look for a new place to live facing all kinds of challenges on the way to the new home. However, the story's lesson is that if you have a kind heart and courage to go after your dreams then you will succeed! Trust your friends and help others whenever you can! I really liked this story and the detailed illustrations made the story even more interesting for kids! They just loved the way the little mouse was peaking to see from the branch where the fire is!!! :O)

Do you think this would be a good book for an 8 year old?
