I'm totally surprised at the content of this book about Michael Jackson coming from someone who worked and knew MJ for 30 yrs. It's nothing more than a disgruntled employee's bad attitude after being fired by Michael Jackson. Bob Jones totalled trashed MJ with innnendoes and insinutations. I only read half the book and now I'd like to burn it. Don't waste your money!!!

When I ordered this book from BN, there were no reviews on it. If I'd have known it was written by a disgruntled ex-employee I never would have ordered it. I read bits and pieces of it but after the author starts comparing MJ to satan, I got so mad I threw my book it the trash! I'm now reading "Conspiracy" by Aphrodite Jones and it's a great book. It tells the truth about what went on during the molestation trial (things the anti-Jackson media left out).

I thought that someone who worked for Michael all those years would have had some understanding. I have read books on Micharl and this one was disappointing. If there was something he could find fault with, he did and more. There was on joy in reading about a icon in thew music world or how he did wonderful things for people like Ryan White. This man waited until Nichael died, then ran out to make a buck on saying things mean about hte dead. Unless you want to read nasty, it wouldn't be worth you time, it wasn't worth mind !

This book, is a big lie. Bob Jones didn't make up the name "King of Pop". Anne Taylor did,as you can see on his interview with Oprah.Look it up on Youtube ( the interview ).

Do not waste your money on this book. It was a huge disappointment. My copy went straight into the trash can after I finished it. The whole thing is "he said she said" and is based on info from a disgruntled ex-employee with an ax to grind.

I purchased this book thinking that as a former employee of MJ, Mr. Jones would be in the position to provide factual information on Michael Jackson. What a mistake! The book is so toxic that I put it in the trash after reading 10 to 15 pages.

LOL! After reading just a few pages, I could tell this is nothing but a bunch of far fetched lies tied in with a few thruthful statements, which is info already reported in the media. I don't believe this crap and I wouldn't waste my money purchasing it.

I only read a few pages and this goes to show how much ppl disliked MJ...and 4 wat reason...idk...all he wanted to do was to make music and bring peace and luv 2 ppl....its funny how he writes dis after MJ fires him....sounds fishy 2 me...luv u MJ RIP

The one who is calculating is Bob Jones. Bringing as much dirt as he can to sell a book. Keeping quiet until Michael fires him and also, book was released during the trial. Anybody who tries to make money on somebody else`s fame I disqualify. He should look at the mirror.

Wow it is truly amazing what poeple do for money. Him saying he made Michael is like me saying I made Elvis and he died before I was even thought of. If he was Michaels friend why let someone write an review of the book calling Michael a villain? I just don't gey

I read the overveiw of this book. Its stupid. Why in the world would anybody read this book. All these people wan is money.. These people need to lay off... Michael Jackson is a legacy by himself. He doesnt need people to write books about. He is the most famous person to have ever walked this earth. He made himself famous. He didnt need a friend to get him there. He had his family. His drive is what made him famous. He beacame The King of Pop by himself.

Bob Jones was probably in one of the most unique positions anyone in "Team Jackson" could hope for. His recollections could have shed more light on the phenomenon known as "Michael Jackson" than anyone else inside the Jackson camp, but instead this book came across as a long-winded, bitter resignation letter. The "factual" content was intriguing, but clouded by obvious disdain. In truth, the firing of Bob Jones was in many ways disrespectful and after so many years of service he should have been treated with more dignity. Even so, penning a novel slinging mud on his former employer only served to make him look like what he termed as "a disgruntled employee" so often associated with working for Michael Jackson...hmmm, imagine the irony? If you can get past the hurtful undertone and really see the message, the book is not a bad read. In the end, he never directly says what he believes to be true, nor does he take a stand on his position if he believes Michael to be guilty or innocent, he instead goes along with the rumors and half truths that are so often retold by the media. Perhaps, after some 20 years of service, Bob Jones really didn't know Michael Jackson all that well after all and perhaps he would have been better off keeping his mouth shut.
