I enjoyed reading this book it was really good. The reason this book matters is because Michael Jordan changed the way basketball was played. He became one of the bests to ever play. He played with all his heart to win a championship and at the end he has won 6 championships.A reader that would like this book is anyone that like sports.

This book is about the struggle and discipline of Michael Jordan¿s life. When Michael Jordan was a young boy he dreamed to be just like his father that is why his first sport was baseball not basketball. Michael didn¿t even begin playing basketball until he was nine and his father built his brother Larry a basketball court in the backyard. When Michael Jordan was a sophomore in high school he was cut from his high school basketball team. After Michael was cut from his team he vowed that it would never happen again, and with that Michael began his career as one of the best to ever play the game. I really enjoyed how the author showed Michael determination to beat his brother in basketball in the beginning of the book. When I read that part of the book it reminded me when I use to play my brother one on one until I would beat him. I also liked how the author went back to Michael hometown to talk to all of his friends and family members. I think that this book is a good read for kids just beginning to play basketball. But the overall book was a good read. I also liked how the showed how hard Michael worked to be a success on the court. I thought by the author doing that he showed kids the meaning of hard work and how nothing will be handed to you in this world. Another thing I liked about the story was .But one thing I didn¿t like about this book was that the author didn¿t go into detail of how hard Michael worked.
