    Great Book.

Myself this is maybe one of my favorite books to read ever. I like Michael Jordan a lot and like basketball a lot too. It is probably my favorite sport that I play. It talks a lot about the game of basketball itself and then also talks about Michael Jordan. So if you are trying to decide on a book to read to a big group or just to yourself I would recommend this great book.

    Great Book

I purchased this book for a group of 10-11 yr. old boys that my husband was coaching for basketball. I heard from all the kids that this was a very interesting book. It not only was about Michael Jordan but had alot to do with the game itself. I thought at their age being on a team could be a little difficult. This book is encouraging, it helps in alot of different areas. These boys read about effort, patience, timing and being a team player and most importantly self control. We had a great team this year! I was told from one of the boys you have to work hard at what you want in life. Which was amazing to hear. I would recommend this book to any child with the interest in basketball. You don't just want to play the game you want to learn about the game. This books talks about so many different things. Again, Great Book!

    Michael Jordan

This book is a very good and informational book. However, it still keeps you entertained and is an enjoyableread, whether you like Michael Jordan or you have never heard of him. It starts by telling you about Michael's childhood and how his main sport was baseball until he got to high school. Michael was just like any other kid when he was growing up, except for his high level of competetiveness, and his dreams of one day making it pro in basketball. Almost everyone has dreams when they are young, but nobody pursued their's like Michael. It then goes on to talk about how he decided to go to the University of North Carolina for college and was very successful there. He said that Dean Smith was a great coach and that much of his success today is because of how hard coach Dean pushed him. Then it talks about his choice of going pro and how he gets drafted by the Chicago Bulls. Then it really gets descriptive and starts to describe Micheal's pro career in basketball, and his minor league one from baseball. This was a very good book.

    Micheal jordan (book review)

    Harrison Frey

    Earlham, IA

    Title: Michael Jordan A Biography

    Author: David Porter

    Publisher: Greenwood Biographies

One the most recognized players to ever play the game, Michael Jordan is

one of the best. He is known world wide for his Air Jordan line of

shoes. However, with success comes lots of hard work and dedication and

that is what MJ put in.

Growing up he was not always the best player. However he had the greatest

work ethic. When he did not start his sophomore he decided to work as

hard as he knew how putting in days worth of work to get better. He

finally became an essential part of his team. He was then recruited by a

powerhouse of college basketball, North Carolina. As a instant success he

led his team to a national title in one of his three years, was also

named 1st team all American his junior and senior year. What follows is

one of the greatest careers in the NBA ever. With numerous MVP and

scoring titles he was one of the most explosive players to watch.

I recommend this book to any sport lover he idolized the phenom as a pro.

He was one of the best to ever play the game.

    This is a good book.

When Michael Jordan goes pro and it takes him along time to go pro. It's a really good story about him.It was really neat and a cool because he did a lot to get there. It stared out when he was in high school. He didn't make the team as a freshman or as a sophomore. He made his junior and senior year. Then he left college and went to the NBA. He was the rookie of the year in the NBA. He won 6 championship rings he is the best basketball player alive now.He went through a lot to get to the NBA. He didn't even make his freshman and sophomore year. He built his way up. He became the best player in the world. He set his goal high and it worked. He is called MJ. The greatest player a live.It is great to set your goal high. As long as you can accomplish it. Like Michael did. Now he is famous and a really great basketball player. Everyone loves Michael. The is a good book to read. You will learn a lot if you read this. Nothing is easy so you have to just set your goals high. You will learn a lot if you read this book. Its not a given choice to read it but it is a good choice if you read it. You will learn a lot.
