From Barnes & NobleThe Barnes & Noble Review
If you want to deploy and manage Exchange right -- with all the performance and reliability that Microsoft promises -- this book will be indispensable.
Jim McBee’s brought together an immense amount of valuable information here, including expert guidance on security, SMTP and Internet client connectivity, Outlook Web Access, clustering, and troubleshooting. There’s indispensable coverage of daily server operations. But our favorite section focuses on planning for Exchange 2003 deployment and migration.
McBee’s seen plenty of Exchange implementations that suffered from serious design mistakes -- related to Active Directory forests, Windows 2000 integration, you name it. He’ll help you avoid those. There’s even under-the-hood coverage of Exchange message stores: knowledge that’s critical to appropriate mailbox and public folder planning. Highly recommended. Bill Camarda
