Exchange Server 2003 Administrator's Pocket Consultant is the best book I've found for day to day administration. Out of all the computer manuals I've bought, this is one of the few books I reference often. This is an outstanding book for newcomers and experienced admins alike.

I don't know what the other reviewers of this book are doing with their Exchange environments, but mine isn't that complicated and I have not found one answer that I was looking for in this book. In my opinion it has been useless for me. If you need more information than how to create a user or administer a mailbox look for another book. This won't get you there.

I poured over this book for a week when I got it and I'd have to say it is the 'must have' book for Exchange 2003. You probably couldn't go past this book for its great design, excellent writing style and wealth of handy tips. Even better this book is focussed, clear and to the point. This book has been the one by my side constantly.

Being new to Exchange Server 2003 I needed a book that help me get answers quickly and without spending a lot of time looking things up. This book provided that and a lot more. As the book is only 450 pages, don't be fooled into thinking can't possibly cover every aspect of Exchange, it is surprisingly thorough. The author, Stanek, presents more information (and more clearly) than other books that are several times as big. This is the book anyone using Exchange Server 2003 will want to keep next to them for sure.

Once again William Stanek has come through with Exchange Server 2003 Administrator's Pocket Consultant. He covers everything you want to know for day to day administration. It is exceptionally well written and excels as a technical reference. I liked the clear nononsense approach to problem solving and feature implementation. This is one book you can read with pleasure from cover to cover. I especially appreciated the comprehensive coverage of mobile access and wireless access solutions. This guide is a must for anyone who admin Exchange. I can not think of a chapter in this book that I did not learn something from. It is the best Exchange Server 2003 book I've found and I spent over 2 hours in the bookstore reading through Exchange Server 2003 books before I bought this one.
