Clearly written. The first book I've read that doesn't pull punches about the MS product line - it lets you know where the weak spots are and how to work around them. This isn't a book full of code, but rather of methodology, techniques, and technologies. Doesn't focus on any one product, but instead tells you how to fit all the MS products like SQL and Commerce together into a functioning site. Doesn't buy the MS line, either - tells you how things work in the REAL WORLD of e-commerce and how to make the Microsoft products hold up under pressure. Fits the word 'Bible' really well. Professionally written, with plenty of examples for difficult tasks. Only thing I didn't like is that the enclosed CD only includes Commerce Server 2000 - it doesn't include the code from the book. That would have been really nice, but most of them are short enough that even I can type them without taking too long .
