Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble
The Barnes & Noble Review
This is Outlook 2007 through-and-through, top-to-bottom, and yes, "Inside Out." It'll help you make Outlook jump through hoops -- and, in the process, make you a whole lot more productive.

There's comprehensive coverage of organizing and filtering messages, so you can spend less time coping with them. You'll find detailed coverage of Contacts, including Business Contact Manager. There's a full section on managing time and tasks (including a chapter on Outlook's underappreciated Journal). Security, archiving, import/export, customization: all handled in depth.

So is collaboration, starting with calendar-sharing and Word-driven email merges (but not ending there). You'll find a full chapter on integrating Outlook with Project (using Contacts in Project resource lists; triggering Outlook reminders from Project). There's guidance on using Outlook with Live Meeting and SharePoint; leveraging Exchange's improved Outlook Web Access and new Outlook Anywhere; and plenty more. For serious Outlook users, this book's seriously indispensable. Bill Camarda, from the May 2007 Read Only

    2007 MS Outlook Inside-Out Manual

This book takes on where the 2007 MS Office System Manual leaves off. There is so much that the Outlook System is capable of that anyone that uses it on a regular basis should read this book.

I felt the book was formatted well and the directions easy to follow. This isn't a book to read in one setting, but pick out a subject or two and experiment on your PC.

This is also a great reference tool to refamiliarize yourself with previously learned nuances that you may have forgotten about.
