    Gets the job done

It's Step by Step MS. If you need to jump in and develop 07, the book will bring you up to speed very quickly.

The only negative, the glossary. If you need to perform a certain task, the glossary is not well thought out to get you where you need to go.

Not a book for a beginner, however, if you are well versed in one MS Product you can pick up very quickly.

    Excellent Documentation

This book is a great companion to the Sharepoint Designer Help files. The examples help make sense. of the complicated theories behind Sharepoint Designer.

    more from this reviewer

Sharepoint Designer Book helps teach you the basics to get around Sharepoint quickly.

This is a great instructional guide to get the basics to help you learn Sharepoint Designer. I used a hosted site instead of the link used in the book and it still worked great for my students. The examples are based on Vista, so if you use XP for your desktop some of the exercises are difficult to get through in the later chapters. I've taught Sharepoint Designer to about 100 students and professionals using this book.
