    Excellent Reference

Very good organization and easy to understand. I've been working in Office 2007 for about 2 years now and using Microsoft office for many years, so a lot of this was not new. There are, however, many Tips and Tricks along with the basic "How To" that are very helpful. The new "Ribbon" concept is very different from older versions of Word and the screen shots and explanations in the book are comprehensive and clear. It's a much more user-friendly Help reference than Microsoft's on-line Help. After searching fruitlessly for a reference to formatting the footnote separator in Microsoft Office Help, I turned to my Word 2007 Bible and found what I needed immediately. My only criticism would be the accompanying CD. The recorded lessons were very basic instructions so not particularly helpful for me, and the sound quality was not good. The cursor on the lessons seemed to wander aimlessly quite a bit and was somewhat distracting and irritating. The content of the book, though is excellent - very helpful for any level of expertise.
