In April 1974, a beautiful baby boy was born at a small hospital in Mesa, Arizona. E. J. Patten (“Eric James”) was in the next crib over. The first story he ever wrote involved a strange ad, a Laundromat, and a bowl of chili; thankfully, it was never published. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Arts, and a Masters in Business Administration from Brigham Young University. He currently resides with his wife and three children in Utah.
Jo NesbØ is the most successful Norwegian author of all time. He has sold millions of books, which are published in twenty-five different languages globally, and he is widely recognized as one of Europe’s foremost crime writers. The author of crime fiction and short stories, the Doctor Proctor adventures are his first children’s books.

Patricia MacLachlan is the author of many well-loved novels and picture books, including Sarah, Plain and Tall, winner of the Newbery Medal; its sequels, Skylark and Caleb’s Story; Edward’s Eyes; The True Gift; and Three Names, illustrated by Alexander Pertzoff. She lives in western Massachusetts.
William Joyce has put his personal stamp on all types of children’s media. His picture books include The Man in the Moon, George Shrinks, Dinosaur Bob, and Santa Calls. He’s won three Emmy awards for his Rolie Polie Olie animated series, developed character concepts for Toy Story and A Bug’s Life, and made films including Robots and Meet the Robinsons. He’s currently executive producer of the DreamWorks Animation release of Rise of the Guardians (Fall 2012), inspired by his new series. He’s also producing a movie based on his book The Leaf Men. And his star continues to rise—he won an Academy Award for his innovative short film The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore.

This book is a sampler they show a sumery of a book then they show you the first chapter of the book they just gave you a sumery on. This is ment to help you find books for your age for me I did find a book I liked so it isn't a rip off just a misunderstanding, but it could have better organization.

Dont judge a book by its cover! If you do you shouldnt have a nook! Its a god book! It just short!

Where is the summary on this book do you expect someone to buy this book and just think"it might be good" but i dont know if it is a good book because THERE IS NO SUMMARY!!!!!!!!

I find it hilarious that most - not all - of the reviewers call the book a piece of crap and complain about all the spellig errors and punctuation problems when they can't even spell half the words that they are writing correct.
