Overview

Available on its own for the first time! #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Virgin River and Thunder Point series Robyn Carr Carr invites readers to ring in the New Year with a little romance.

In Virgin River, holiday kisses don't end with Christmas—there's still the inaugural New Year's Eve party at Jack's Bar to attend. Locals and newcomers alike find themselves eager for that special countdown…and that midnight kiss.

Drew Foley and Sunny Archer are each visiting Virgin River for the holidays. Sunny was dumped at the altar the previous New Year's Eve and is in no mood to celebrate. But her uncle and his fiancée drag her to Jack’s Bar. Drew, getting over his own heartbreak, sees Sunny across the crowded room and he's instantly smitten.

As the townspeople gather, two lonely revelers decide the best balm for their broken hearts might just be each other.

Short and yes, this was imbedded in a previous Robin Carr book... But, it was still an enjoyable read and contained more detail than the earlier reference... Ms. Carr is a gifted author and I read everything she writes... If she occasionally publishes something again, I don't mind reading it a second time... PS.. Don't blame this on B & N.. Remember, they are "book sellers"... They "sell" what comes from the publisher.. It is the author and the publishers who bear responsibility for "work" being new and fresh... What I don't like is when an old book gets published with a new release date... I read 200+ books a year and I rely heavily on "release date" to know if a book is "new"...

I usually really enjoy Robyn Carr's books but this is a very short story with no real character development or plot. A disappointment.
