The other books I've read by this writer were on my list of favorites. But I have gotten to page 128 and counted the same 6 page argument almost word for word recurring 9 times so far. Don't think I'll finish and I am abolutely sending this to archive si I can delete it from my library.

Really great story from the start to finish! And what a great price! Once I started reading I couldn't put it down and I'm so glad I tried this book out! Highly recommended historic romance story!

Midnight Lover is a fast-paced, sexy western historical romance that was originally published in 1989 by Pocket Books. It has a new cover and a new lease on life thanks to the digital revolution. It's fun, definitely hot, and will have you on the edge of your seat at the end. I hope you'll download a sample and spend some time with Caroline and Jesse in Silver Spur. (PS: I couldn't submit this without assigning a star rating. I would've been crazy not to give it a 5, right?)

Overview
Jesse Reardon was the king of Silver Spur, a rough Nevada boomtown where he called all the shots. Then one hot and dusty afternoon, beautiful Boston socialite Caroline Bennett stepped off the stagecoach determined to avenge her father's death and claim what's rightfully hers: the Crazy Arrow saloon and maybe even Jesse Reardon's untamed heart.
