David Gero has been interested in air disasters for many years and has gathered information on more than 5,000 incidents of all kinds. He is a television director as well as author of Aviation Disasters (Sutton, 2006), Flights of Terror (PSL, 1997), and the original edition of Military Aviation Disasters (PSL, 1999). David lives in San Gabriel, California.
