Peter Trump, a graduate of the University of Washington, is married to Mary Jan Greer, a graduate of Northwestern State University. Peter met Jan, Jan met Peter, in Glacier National Park the summer of 1973, Peter having been recruited as violinist, Jan as pianist, to perform Fiddler On the Roof for tourists at Many Glacier. A dozen years later Peter played a gangster's roving violinist in the Alan Rudolph film Trouble In Mind. Peter and Jan have owned Lady Berkeley Art Gallery in Hamilton, Montana, and Bear Creek Hideaway on the upper fringe of Yellowstone National Park. The Trumps in all suits live in Louisiana, though their three children have scattered, 2 to LA, 1 to New York.
Milk the Childrenby Peter Trump
A multitalented H-bomb physicist, Hruodopergus Hluodowigus Storm, moves his family from warm, left-wing Myotopia to cold, right-wing Eedahow, or, as the ancient tribal exclamation has it, "See sun go down mountain!" Hru's 11 year-old son, Ben, is one of 34 sixth-grade children, all "geniuses," milked in day-jail by Richard (Devil) Jaxuch Koprokopf, a devilish rancher. Benedictus is destined to condemnation, whereas Devil is redeemed. Removed from his post by inquisition, Devil is sent to a sanatorium; 6 sick postdocs write him a thesis that wins his release. The real release comes when Devil, transformed into Lord Sir Kay Sergei Illuministico, tutors 5 teens in the privacy of seclusion, in a wilderness schoolhouse looming high above Lava.
