Meet the Author

Bisco Hatori made her manga debut with Isshun kan no Romance (A Moment of Romance) in LaLa DX magazine. The comedy Ouran High School Host Club is her breakout hit. When she's stuck thinking up characters' names, she gets inspired by loud, upbeat music (her radio is set to NACK5 FM). She enjoys reading all kinds of manga, but she's especially fond of the sci-fi drama Please Save My Earth and Slam Dunk, a basketball classic.

What I think of Millennium Snow

Chiyuki, a 17-year-old heart patient, has been hospitalized for what probably will be the last time, when she meets Toya, an 18-year old vampire who has sworn off drinking blood. It is during their 18th year that vampires generally form a bond with the partner they will feed off of in return, the partner lives as long as the vampire, a thousand years. When Chiyuki hears this, she becomes determined to stay with Toya, regardless of the fact that Toya is not interested in forming relationships at all, afraid of losing the people he has become attached to as he outlives them all. Naturally, the two become close, Toya resisting at every turn. When Chiyuki recovers from her illness and returns to school, new characters are introduced who also have commitment fears pertaining to love and loss. MILLENNIUM SNOW is a highly predictable story, but fun nonetheless, as Chiyuki gradually wears down Toya's defenses. The long-limbed characters, dynamic facial expressions and flashes of laugh-out-loud humor are similar to those that make OURAN HIGH SCHOOL HOST CLUB so successful. The extra story included at the end of the volume is a sweet and slightly twisted one about a girl who falls in love with her best friend's hidden personality.

Millennium Snow is one of the most heartfelt mangas out there

The plot, the emotions... not to mention the hottie Toya.... I love this manga. It's so sweet and gets to the root of the feeling of being alone and love's power to help. If you ever, and I mean EVER, get the chance to get this manga, it's a winner all the way. :D

    It was... better than average...?

I loved the plot of this it was kinda of predictable but what books nowadays aren't? I would much prefer this to those that make so many plot twist I can't keep up. I don't know why but the art style bugged me. It isn't bad and it is Hatori's earlier work but... I dont know I was taken away from the story because I kept pausing to stare at the art. Over all I liked it but I think i'm going to pass it on to a friend that would enjoy and treasure it more than me. ^-^

    a slow start but...

I loved this book! I was a little sceptical at first because the heroine seemed a little ditzy but I'm glad I kept reading! the story really picked up when Satsuki showed up.

Mellennium Snow is one of the coolest manga I've read and it's so easy to fall inlove with the characters. I ended up reading this over and over. Can't wait for more to come out.

    From Shojo Beat

I read the first chapter in Shojo Beat and now I'm eagerly awaiting for the first volume to come out! If you give this manga a chance I promise you the first chapter will totally grab you and suck you in! I'm troubled that there is only two volumes in the manga but I love the art and the storyline already!
