WARNING! Serenity Wells is about to set it off! She's anything but serene and the kind of broad that will cut 'cha! 'And pray about it later...maybe.' Married at an early age, sister gurl was still fiesty in every sense of the word. Being the mother of two young girls didn't slow her roll not '1' single bit. Not to knock her - because she tried to 'do the right thing' - but thanks to her philandering and manipulative husband, Kyron Wells... Ms. Serenity took it to a whole nutha level! This couple lived a lifestyle status reflecting 'married-single' - married to one another, but yet 'single' mindedly selfish when it came to the lust of their flesh. Even when they attempt to save their marriage, it still seems as though it's spiraling down to hell... it would be easier for them to stop an elephant from going down a hill than to salvage their wedding vows. The author effortlessly yanks at the heartstrings of anyone who has ever loved. This story is a raw core testimony of male & female relationships - the struggles, the pain, the hurt, the disappointments, the games and the possessive powers of love. KaShamba tugs at the reader's conscious - when do you know your lover has crossed the line? Do you ignore the signs of a cheating mate? Or do you confront it? Would you take your lover back after the ultimate betrayal? How much or who are you willing to sacrifice? Do you lie, scheme & sabatoge to make your marriage work? Or do you just deceive yourself, hoping that in the end you'll come out on top? Hats off to Ms. KaShamba Williams, because the story will definitely twist your mind as it takes you on this emotional roller coaster. It was a quick and enjoyable read.
