Meet the Author

David Nelson is a filmmaker, public health nutritionist, and educator. He produced a hit children's radio show for several years, entitled "Shooting Stars" on Hopi public radio, and has also produced dozens of short videos on health topics including diabetes, diet, foot care, substance abuse, suicide, and mindful parenting. He is a member of the Order of Interbeing and a mindfulness practitioner.

Thich Nhat Hanh is a Vietnamese Buddhist monk whose lifelong efforts to generate peace and reconciliation moved Martin Luther King, Jr., to nominate him for the Nobel Peace Prize in 1967. He is the author of Happiness, Being Peace, Peace Is Every Step, and many other best-selling books. He lives in southwest France where he gardens, writes, and teaches the art of mindful living.
