Steve Flowers, MFT, conducts mindfulness-based stress reduction online programs and is the founder and director of the mindfulness-based stress reduction clinic at Enloe Medical Center in Chico, CA. He also works in private practice as a psychotherapist.


Jeffrey Brantley, MD, is a consulting associate in the Duke Department of Psychiatry and the founder and director of the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program at Duke University's Center for Integrative Medicine. He has represented the Duke MBSR program in numerous radio, television and print interviews. He is coauthor of Five Good Minutes, Five Good Minutes in Evening, Five Good Minutes at Work, and The Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills Workbook.

    Highly recommend

    I bought this book for a guy. He is very shy and quiet, both with guys and gals. He is a very smart and hard working person. I think he's been through a lot in life. I like him and wish to be at least a friend of his, but if it's not possible, I at least want to see him smile and be happy, because he never ever smiles. I went through it and it seems like a good and helpful book. I really hope he READS this BOOK.
