    Gemstones and mineral

    Amethyst can be found in the Quartz Gemstone page. Amethyst is a quartz that has a purple coloring due to impurities. If there are other stones that you are unable to find, it may be for a similar reason. I think it is a pretty cool app for scientific info on different minerals.

    Not worth the $

    Cant search on color and doesnt contain or cant find some common gems like amethyst. Not very useful reference tool.
