In the near future, humans terraform Venus, only to discover that Venus is already inhabited. Bands of adventurers interact with the natives (werai) on behalf of mining corporations. This book follows the Wit'koya Venture Company on the Finch Continent in the twilight of the age of adventuring. During their regular routine, they save one werai from a life of servitude, upsetting her former masters, a powerhouse native faction called the Terau. The Terau are dead set on driving them from the continent, and the small band has to fight to survive!

About the Author

Benjamin Bjorkman was born and raised in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas. He has a major in economics, a minor in computer science, and a profession in law. He is a professing Dutch Reformed Christian and looks forward to the church’s semi-millennial reformation. He writes for the theology blog Morning Walk, and he maintains a world-building project called Wouraiya. He attends city council meetings on a regular basis for fun. In his free time, he researches deep into the internet for a myriad of topics.
