Really bad version

I love this game on the computer but this version is so frustrating and slow that all the fun is taken out if the game. The boxes are so small that selecting the one i want is impossible.

Few Issues (not touch friendly), but Typical Minesweeper

The game is your typical Minesweeper, but there are a few issues I wished were changed.

1. The hard version has squares right up to the sides of the nook. The bad part about this is that the touch pad isn't as sensitive on the edges of the screen. Because of this and the small size of the squares, sometimes it'll take 20-30 seconds to try to get a single or double tap on those edge squares. (I've lost more than a few games because the double tap ended up accidentally hitting the wrong square and I've got small fingers, so this HAS to be worse with someone with average sized fingers). It gets more than frustrating trying to clear a square and being unable after 10+ attempts to even select the correct square, or when it ends up hitting the wrong square.
2. The bomb flagging is only for 1 square at a time. I wish this was a toggle instead so I could mark all of the bombs I see on the board, instead of having to move back and forth, back and forth. My wrist actually started popping the last few times I played because of all the back and forth movements. It's worse when the bombs are all at the top of the screen and having 10 bombs to mark and needing to jump from the top to the bottom and back again.
3. You can't win the game until you mark all the bombs. The game doesn't realize that if there are 10 spaces uncleared and 10 bombs left that all of the empty spaces are bombs. You have to do twice the clicking back and forth to mark the rest of the bombs (which goes back to the problem I had in #2 which again has a chance of hitting problem #1)
4. You have a chance of hitting a bomb on your first square. (not the worst bug, but this version keeps track of the number of losses...and losing on your first square is an unavoidable loss.)

Other than that, the game seems to be what I expected.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY !!!

I sent this message to the developers of this app after talking with Barnes and Noble tech support:

I downloaded your Minesweeper app for my Nook Color and I cannot use it because the squares are so small and my fingers are too big to tap the squares I want to select. I called Barnes and Noble and the girl in tech support downloaded the game and said even she had problems with it. I downloaded Minesweeper from Agile Fusion and they have a zoom feature which makes it so much easier to play. I will not be giving this app a favorable review in hopes that you add a zoom feature or make the squares bigger(there is plenty of screen to fill). I'm just glad I didn't lose more than 99 cents since apparently Barnes and Noble will not give refunds on apps.

Bad update!

I installed the update today and now the game is incredibly sluggish. Not enjoyabe to play at all! I loved this game now not interested. Wish I never installed that update or wish there was a way to undo it. HORRIBLE!!

its slow but easy

its not hard ive playd this game since i was 7 all u have to do is take ur time not to hit the wrong square and count if u can cout to 8 u can win its a classic not a fast gsme at all

Like the old standby but clunky

A lot like what you would expect if you are a Minesweeper fan, but it takes awhile to reload and flagging potential mines is clunky. I also hit ,ines on move 1 for the first 3 games I played, so I thought it wasn't working right at first. I think the game looks great, don't get me wrong, but maybe I am just too used to the mouse-and-click method. It would be more comfortable for me if the first click was to flag instead of select, but as I said, guess I'm an oldschool minesweeper fan.
