    Minnesota Twins

I enjoyed this book very much! I was nine years old in the summer of 65 and was just getting into baseball and the Minnesota Twins gave me the gift of a World Series! I had to wait another 22 years for another WS appearance but the wait, which at times seemed long was well worth it! All the facts, excitement and low points are covered in this book. I don't believe there is much more info of importance that isn't already covered in this book the average to above average Twins fan would want. Enjoyed the breakdown by decade, stats and players of each decade. The top 50 Twins are reviewed and I don't believe I could argue against any of them or nominate too many others. Killer, Carew, Puck, TonyO, Kitty, Bert, Herbie, Allison. They are all here along with Chance, Mud Cat, Battey, Versalles, Perry, Pascual, Tovar, G-man, Bruno, Gags, Viola, Knobby, Brian Harper who was a favorite of mine. To todays stars, Mauer and Morneau. At this point in time, this is the most complete and best book out there about the Minnesota Twins!
