"I want you to depend on Me," the Lord tells us. "But Lord I don't have much to offer," we protest. "That's why I need a miracle in the first place." "Then just place what you have in My hands, and watch what I can do," He answers. I believe that at some point in our lives, God will put each of us in a place where we have no option but to truth in Him for a miracle. That may mean being in a place where we just don't believe we have the resources to do the things we need to do, in a place where we are physically, emotionally and financially drained. We all need to lay hold of the lesson Jesus intended in the miracle of feeding the thousands, and it's this: Our being in a place where we don't have the resources to do what He has called us to do does not prevent God from multiplying what we place in His hands. When you feel small and limited in your resources, then it's time to get you focus off yourself and what you don't have and on Jesus, who has everything your need. When you do that, you can rest assured that God will do with your limitations what He does so well. It will be time for a miracle!
