15 Pages of Ads, yet not even a complete short story

This eBook is 29 pages long, of which 15 are advertisements for other items from Jekkara Press. There isn't enough here to even be considered a short story -- I'd liken this to being a short scene within a short story. If the author would focus on writing a full-length novel, there is enough of a premise to make an interesting book. There are typical new-writer errors, such as interjecting colloquialisms and forgetting to engage all the senses for worldbuilding purposes. The characters all seem to be most interested in Miranda's massive curves, even though they're in the midst of a battle. In my opinion, with a good writer's group, or posting on free critique websites (Critters, for instance, a free web resource run by an ex-officer of the SFWA), this author could build up her chops to really get an engaging (complete) story or novella published.

    Ditto x 3

This reminded me of high school composition class. The teacher gave us thirty minutes to write something off the top of our heads. I know it was a no cost edition but a little more meat might draw my interest and my money.
