Loved this book! It is the third book in a series, and the entire series has been wonderful! You could actually read the books out of order and not be lost, but it may be a bit of a spoiler as to how the other books end. The characters in this book are realistic with true-to-life flaws. The evolution of these characters and the lessons they learn about themselves and others is something many of us can draw upon.

I adored this book. Not only was it hard to put down, I actually learned a life lesson from it!

I was prepared not to like Miriam at first because she really did come across as a snob. She seemed to enjoy doing good deeds just for the sake of people seeing it and thinking her such a selfless person. But things started to change after someone called her out on it and things started falling apart at home. Afterher broke engagement, she started spending time with...oh I'm terrible with names... but he was a really good influence on her, showing her God's love and mercy. But when her Ex wants her back, what will Miriam decide? Great book. Loved how she changed during the course of the book. Didn't always agree with her choices, but it all works out in the end...

I really liked this book. The author's skill of weaving bible verses with Miriam's life and growing maturity was super. I loved the ending . I would have liked to see Ephrim's brother get in trouble and the two brought down a peg. but that is not the amish way. forgiveness is the way. Those two will face a higher judgement . I am glad that Seth's siblings were rescued from the "wicked stepmother". I could see a future story about successful Seth and his horses and a happy marriage to Miriam and little sister grown up etc etc.
