    Boring

A book needs to catch my interest within the first 100 pgs. I was bored with the book and couldn't wait any longer for something to happen.

    Gripping

This is a great book. I was emotionally invested with the characters early on and really felt for them. In the world of free ebooks this is solid gold. You will have to read the second book. You will not be able to stop yourself. I have since read almost every book by this author. You can not go wrong with him.
