I adore the Miss Melville books! Why are there no other reviews? I started them in the 70s; this is the first one and it is just delightful. The only problem is that there are not enough of these books - perhaps she stopped writing them - i must look it up. the premise is , that a woman of good family with a good wardrobe who is financially distressed but still invited everywhere takes up assassinating bad people for fun and profit!
