Dealing with the consequences of success may not have come easy for Ligabue, who in this album switches from his trademark character stories to more personal statements, often expressing a growing disappointment and frustration. Some tracks feature string arrangements recorded at Abbey Road by the London Session Orchestra, conducted by Piero Milesi.
