Author Biography: Rosemary I. Patterson, Ph.D., is a retired School Psychologist. Her interests include assessment, identity formation in adolescence, and psychological growth processes caused by multi-cultural interactions. This is the authors fifth novel about Polynesians and Indegenous People. The first three, "Kula Keiki Ali'i (The Chief' Childrens' School), "Kuhina Nui (Prime Minister), and "An End To Innocence" were set in Hawaii while "Return of the Canoe Societies" was set in British Columbia.
