Meet the Author

David Livingstone (19 March 1813 – 1 May 1873) was a Scottish Congregationalist pioneer medical missionary with the London Missionary Society and an explorer in Africa. His meeting with H. M. Stanley gave rise to the popular quotation, "Dr. Livingstone, I presume?"

This was a really fascinating account of his travels. I liked it.

This was a very interesting book. I really enjoyed reading it. It is a nice version too, without errors. The review that states it's a bad copy must be referring to another version, not this one. The one I have has a picture of Livingstone on it, with black lettering at the bottom.
