Meet the Author

Julie B. Olson-Buchanan is a Professor and Department Chairin the Department of Management in the Craig School of Business,California State University, Fresno. Her research on mistreatmentin the workplace has appeared in such journals as the Journal ofApplied Psychology, Academy of Management Review, andAcademy of Management Journal. Dr Olson-Buchanan hasprovided consultation and training on preventing and resolvingmistreatment in the workplace to several private and publicorganizations.

Wendy R. Boswell is an Associate Professor and MaysResearch Fellow in the Department of Management, Mays BusinessSchool, Texas A&M University. Dr Boswell's research onworkplace conflict has appeared in such journals as Academy ofManagement Journal, Academy of Management Review, andJournal of Applied Psychology. She also serves as theDirector of the Center for Human Resource Management, working withcompanies on issues related to employee work attitudes,recruitment, and retention.
